Dan Konzen, Treasurer
Dan currently serves as the Vice President of Guidance and Information Systems and Technology for Advisor Armor a FINTECH company focused on compliance in the financial industry as well as owner of Bones and Barnacles, a casual outdoor kitchen. He also serves on several additional boards. Prior to this he served in a dual role as the Campus Chair for the College of Information Systems and Technology and the Chair for the Scholarship Editorial Board with the University of Phoenix. He has taught graduate courses in finance, strategic management, and IT and held senior positions as CEO, President, and CFO for both start-ups and national companies. He has been sought after to speak on leadership and cybersecurity with over 1 billion positive media impressions.
He is an astute, technological savvy and entrepreneurial-minded, visionary leader with proven success of providing strategic direction, leadership, and organizational change to grow, and improve the profitability, performance, and value of companies. His is an experienced senior executive with advanced expertise and diligent attention to detail in board leadership and development, governance and compliance, project management, information systems management, financial planning & control, and staff development.
He has done doctoral work in applied management and decision sciences, with an emphasis in leadership and organizational change, has an MBA in finance, insurance, and risk management, an MBA in knowledge and learning management (IT), and a Bachelors in business management. He also holds the designations of Master Project Manager, Master Financial Planner, Chartered Risk Analyst, Certified International Project Manager, Chartered Business Analyst, Fellow, Council on Ethical Billing, Fellow, Global Academy of Finance and Management, and Fellow, Claims and Litigation Management, and many other licenses and certifications, but who’s counting.
