About Chapter

Welcome to the Arizona Chapter of SIM, the organization of choice serving today's and tomorrow's IT leaders in Arizona and their communities

Since 1968, The Society for Information Management (SIM) has  been a community of thought leaders who share experiences and rich intellectual capital, and who explore future IT direction. Currently, SIM has over 40 chapters throughout the U.S., and growing.

The Arizona Chapter of SIM strives to strengthen professional communications among members who direct the application of information technology in private and pubic organizations. Chapter activities include:

  • Meeting to share innovative ideas and real world experiences which address enterprise information needs. We have excellent speakers both from our membership, and bring in industry executives and subject matter experts from many sources.
  • Providing presentations by leading national information-management professionals and executives who benefit from management-information systems.
  • Challenging our comfort levels by exchanging ideas with peers and business counterparts.
  • Being a resource for each other, and personal networking.
Chapter Meetings

The Arizona SIM chapter meets once a month on Wednesdays, with a summer hiatus during July and August. Regular monthly meetings are hosted at the ASU University Club in Tempe, AZ, unless announced otherwise. Find out when our next event is on the Events page.
