TechPoint Foundation For Youth (a SIM Indy Outreach partner) will host the 2nd annual Indiana VEX Robotics State Championship at Lucas Oil Stadium on March 9th. The competition will be the largest State Championship in the country, gathering 360 teams from elementary, middle, and high schools from all over Indiana! 520 volunteers are needed to make this dynamic one-day event a success and we need help from all of our volunteers and board members! SIM Indy is pleased to announce the launch of our chapter's Members In Transition (MIT) program, meeting immediately following our Executive Forums. The Members In Transition group was developed to assist SIM members in need by providing a forum to share leads, opportunities, and advice. This program is open to all members for interactive collaboration, including those in need as well as those looking to help! More info about the national MIT program may be found here . We raised $57,056.12 at this year's Indiana IT Symposium which is a $16k+ increase over last year! A special "Thank You" to all of our dedicated volunteers and SIM Leadership for making the event a huge success. All of the money will go towards college scholarships and multiple youth outreach initiatives in Indiana. Please block your calendars for next year's symposium on September 12, 2018!
