STEM:  TechGirls Workshop
Monday, February 17, 2020
SIM MN partnered with Target to provide a coding workshop for 22 girls at the Target North Campus.  At this workshop, 4th and 5th grade girls from Oxbow Elementary were given a tour of Target's Guest Experience Center, received training in programming a micro:bit and then created a bracelet for their finished product.  The girls were ecstatic to find out they could KEEP the kit and expand their skills at home.  We hope to host more of these events in the future!
