David has spent his nearly 40-year career in network engineering, consulting and leadership roles. He joined the Memphis International Airport in 2013 and accepted the role of Manager of Information Technology in 2014. Memphis International Airport (MEM) serves an average of 140,000 passengers every month. Most of our customers originate or arrive in Memphis, meaning as an origination and destination airport we predominantly serve your family, friends and colleagues and play host to thousands of tourists and visitors. Prior to MEM David held positions at Holiday Inns, Motorola, 3Com and Cisco Systems among others. Over the years he received numerous awards including the “Flying Goose Award” for outstanding leadership and teamwork, the “Honors Club” and the “Presidents Club” for outstanding customer service and “Application Engineer of the Year” for outstanding pre-sales engineering and support, just to name a few. David is married to Patricia Boone, a licensed commercial lines insurance agent in Memphis TN, and is a proud father of 3. His hobbies have included tournament bass fishing and snow skiing, but now are mostly gardening and woodworking
