Larry Godec | Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer | First American

Larry Godec is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of First American. In that capacity, he leads all divisions within the technology portfolio including strategic planning, application development, security, R&D, governance, infrastructure and data center operations that support and grow the business. He also runs the First American SMS Software Company. Larry started with First American in 1999 as the Chief Information Officer for First American Tax Service Company located in Dallas, Texas. In 2001, he was promoted to the corporate office in Santa Ana, California as the Chief Information Officer for First American Title Insurance Company. Larry has over 28 years of experience in all facets of information technology. Prior to First American, Larry held senior technology management positions at Nissan North America.

Larry started with First American in 1999 as the Chief Information Officer for First American Tax Service Company located in Dallas, Texas. In 2001, he was promoted to the corporate office in Santa Ana, California as the Chief Information Officer for First American Title Insurance Company. Larry has over 28 years of experience in all facets of information technology. Prior to First American, Larry held senior technology management positions at Nissan North America and
Dr Pepper/Seven-up.

Larry has a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Colorado State University. He has been involved in numerous professional and community organizations. He is an active board member and former Chairman of the Technology Business Management (TBM) Council and current board of director for the Southern California Society of Information Managers (SIM). He is on the CIO Advisory Committees for Microsoft and Oracle and a strategic advisor to the Board of Directors for Apptio Corporation, a leading provider of technology business management solutions whose customers manage over $50B of enterprise IT spend. Larry is also a Growth Advisory Board member of Skytap, Inc., providing Environments-as-a-Service (EaaS) to transform the software development lifecycle and help customers deliver better software, faster. 


Allan Lamkin | Chief Technology Officer | Deluxe Entertainment Services Group
