Tampa Bay Economic Development
Tapping into Tampa Bay Workforce Development Resources
Special Invitation: Bring your CHRO, HR Business Partner and Training Manager colleagues to this session as we will be discussing available workforce development resources. Resources that will stretch your current training budgets. Additionally, we will be discussing the overall health and vitality of the Tampa Bay IT Community.
Tampa Bay’s growth rate continues at a break neck pace. Currently we have over 55,000 IT professionals and projections will take us to 65,000 over the next few years.
Most companies are struggling finding and retaining IT talent. Based on the rapid growth rate, the challenge is even going to become greater. In addition, we will have to retrain our current staff to keep up with the rapid changes in technology.
We have invited the economic development experts and educators to share with us their perspectives and available resources to address the challenge.
