As SIM Austin grows, we are continuing to look for ways to add value for our Members and Friends of SIM. Our Chapter sponsors regular programs to network, hosts social and philanthropic events to enhance the community, and acts as a forum for business and technology leaders to partner with peers.
Our monthly meetings, which are open to SIM members, friends of Austin SIM and guests, feature industry leaders and speakers, covering a variety of topics from new technologies and business opportunities to best practices as demonstrated by leading companies. You will gain perspectives from real-life successes and failures, and understand how companies strategically respond to business challenges. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge, as well as your professional network.

Our Chapter also hosts Informal Happy Hours throughout the year. It’s a perfect way to network and catch up with peers while enjoying great food, beverages and the relaxing atmosphere at various venues across the Austin area.

For those that are members, your current paid membership includes entry to all SIM monthly meetings plus the opportunity to introduce prospective members at no charge. Please register your guests through the Eventbrite invitation, and they will be included at no cost.
We welcome Friends of SIM to join us and participate in events and would encourage you to consider joining SIM to take full advantage of our programs (i.e., CIO Roundtable Breakfasts, SIM Lunch Events, InnoTech discounts, access to regional and national SIM events and programs, and more.). This year we are introducing a fee of $25.00 to attend SIM’s monthly meetings for Friends of SIM to ensure we can continue to provide the strong base of programs, speakers and networking opportunities for everyone. If you would like to join us for any of our monthly meetings or happy hours, they are usually scheduled the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Check out the Events section to preview our upcoming events.
