Pradeep Kumar is an accomplished IT leader and strategist with 20+ years’ experience and expertise in championing innovative IT architecture solutions as well as planning and directing $MM technology infrastructure projects for the U.S. Department of Energy, Kaiser Permanente, Schnitzer Steel Industries, and US Bancorp
At Kaiser Permanente, Pradeep serves as practice leader in championing intake process revolving around new technology intake as well as managing the full SDLC for the deployment of in-building (cellular) systems in hospitals and medical centers.
Pradeep is active in the Portland technical community, serving in numerous volunteer positions. Among them, he chairs the Oregon Chapter of the IEEE Communication Society and as a Trustee for the Portland Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM). His previous position on the SIM board Director of Education and President. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and currently also serves as the chair of the Oregon IEEE Communication Society. His other volunteer roles include serving on the advisory board for the Oregon State University's Business Information Systems (BIS) Program in the of Business as well on the Engineering Advisory Board in the School of Engineering at the University of Portland.
Pradeep was the recipient of the Society for Information Management’s national “Leader of the Year” for 2016
Pradeep holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Degree (BSEE) as well as an MBA from the University of Portland. He is a graduate of the Regional Leadership Forum (RLF) from the Society for Information Management (SIM).
