What is SIM Houston?
Recognizing the unique needs of the industry, SIM collects the intellectual capital of IT leaders nationwide and offers the resources you need to do business better, including:
Face-to-Face meetings/networking – Monthly chapter meetings with networking and drinks followed by dinner and relevant speaker occurring on the 3rd Tuesday of the month
Partnerships – SIM Houston partners with several of the CIO conferences organizations such as the Houston Business Journal, CIO Magazine Perspectives, HMG, EMF and several others
Members-In-Transition – This important SIG of peers locally and nationally helps share leads, opportunities and advice to help you land your next position. The meetings occur the third Thursday over every month. Contact Stephen Webster for more information.

SIM Women – SIM also has a strong group of women in the Houston area who are well established IT leaders who get together for networking and mentoring.
Scholarships – SIM is a strong supporter of several organizations that help provide scholarships to students and foster technology innovations.
Membership in the SIM Houston Chapter continues to grow as well as the number of activities both in educational, community and social programs. The current membership stands at nearly 500 members with 200+ men and 250+ women and we are targeting to be over 500 members in 2019.
Several companies have seen the value and have taken advantage of the $50 discount offered with the enterprise membership of 3 members or more.
Everyone is a member of the membership committee and encouraged to invite a new IT executive practitioner to the Chapter meetings.
Please send their name and contact info to: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send an invitation to the next chapter meeting.
