Thrilled to kick off 2024 with our first SIM Houston chapter meeting, featuring the insightful Patrick Jankowski, Chief Economist & SVP at the Greater Houston Partnership. Patrick delivered a compelling overview of Houston's economic landscape post-COVID, highlighting significant job creation across sectors (barring energy) and a promising outlook for most industries in 2024.
Despite a projected slowdown in a few areas like commercial real estate, information media, insurance, and finance, Patrick's analogy of Houston's economy transitioning from a sprint to a marathon pace sets an optimistic tone for sustainable growth ahead.
