SIM Arizona:


For more than 20 years, the SIM Arizona Chapter has been the organization of choice for Arizona IT executives. Membership includes CIOs and other senior executives, consultants, and academics from top Arizona businesses and educational institutions.

The Arizona Chapter is a member organization of the Society for Information Management (SIM), a prestigious professional association of executives, academics, and consultants in the information management field. Membership is limited to the top information executives in leading business or public sector firms and key academic contributors to the field.

SIM members can participate in the weekly conference calls and email groups where leads and advice are shared.

Leadership development - SIM's Leadership Institute has programs for all levels of IT Leadership, including emerging leaders, managers with 1-4 years' leadership experience, leaders with 4+ years' experience, and senior leaders. SIM members receive a discount to this nationally recognized program.

  6. Opportunities to give back - SIM offers an active STEM outreach program to support the future IT workforce development. Chapters have sponsored STEM initiatives from kindergarten through college. This outreach has drawn almost $200,000 in annual donations for an assortment of national programs.
  7. Targeted industry insights - SIM's Advanced Practices Council (APC) is a community of CIOs who commission academic research on IT management topics. APC research reports feature real-world case studies and applications, providing important actionable insights that are made available to all SIM members.
