Join us at the SIM Capital Area Chapter (SIMCAC), a professional community for CIOs and other senior IT leaders in the Washington, DC area!

SIMCAC welcomes senior IT Leaders, including direct-reports to the senior IT leader of an organizations, as well as senior academics and consultants in the senior IT leadership space. If you're interested in joining, and would like to experience a meeting before joining, or are interested in learning more about eligibility requirements, please reach out to our Membership Chair.

Membership is an incredible value at $440 per year for leaders of for-profit organizations or $267 per year for leaders of non-profit or Government organizations.  SIMCAC also offers Enterprise Packages, which includes 3 memberships and discounts for additional members.

Renew your SIMCAC Membership

To renew your SIMCAC membership for another year (membership is based on a calendar year cycle - January 1 through December 31), and keep your access to our great DC-area and national communities and associated events, please:

  1. Click the button below
  2. Sign in using your SIM Membership Login Credentials. Please email sim@simnet.org if you have trouble logging in.
  3. Select "Renew your membership now”
    •  You may either pay online with a credit card or choose Bill Me for an invoice that can be printed immediately and mailed in with a check.
    • Please note, a physical bill will not be mailed if Bill Me is selected. You must click "view/print invoice" in order to download and print your invoice.

Regional Leadership Forum (RLF)

Develop individual leadership skills through SIM's Regional Leadership Forum (RLF), which is an intensive, nine-month leadership development program focused on creating authentic leaders. It is designed to help CIOs develop their high potential IT leaders/managers. SIM members receive a discount.

Check out SIM's Members-In-Transition Program - whether you are in transition or keeping an eye out for your next opportunity, the MIT Program has resources from major search firms, tips for managing your career, and more. The group is open to all members and includes those who are looking for some help/advice in their job searches as well as those who are employed and willing to help. Participate in the weekly conference calls and email groups where members share leads and offer free advice.
