The Society for Information Management Capital (Washington, DC-Metro) Area Chapter (SIMCAC) is a prestigious professional group for executive and senior technology leaders, with over 120 members.
SIMCAC members include CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, and other senior technology leaders, their direct reports, prominent academics, and some other technology thought leaders (many of which are former technology executives). As such, it represents a concentrated audience of executives deeply involved in the products and services procurement process. SIMCAC is organized and run by a volunteer board.
Sponsors are an essential part of our community: providing thought leadership in key areas, helping to arrange and fund great programs, and supporting our charitable foundation activities. As such, we welcome opportunities to work with current and prospective sponsors to maximize the value of sponsorship. We invite you to review our current offerings and to contact us to discuss.
All money raised above our operating costs is donated to STEM-related charities in the region, often over $50,000 a year in charitable giving.
There are four primary opportunities to partner with SIMCAC as a sponsor:

- Annual Member Appreciation Dinner
- In-Person events most months

Annual Charitable Golf Outing
SIMCACs annual charitable golf outing is a great opportunity for our members to connect with each other and sponsors, while enjoying a fun day of golf and celebrating giving to several SIMCAC charitable partners.
This year’s outing will be on October 8th, 2026, at Worthington Manor Golf Club.

With most golf sponsorship packages, you get included access to attend one of the monthly in-person or virtual events at no extra cost. Attendance at an event is limited to 3 vendors per event.
Note: You do not have to be good at golf (many of us are not). It is a fun, relaxed event where teams play the best ball on each shot.

For all sponsorship levels, if a sponsor would like to add additional practitioners as a guest, it will be $150 per golfer.
Quarterly Enclave Dinners

The SIM Enclave® program brings together 12 of our most senior technology executives (CIO/CTO/ CDO/CISO or equivalent) members quarterly for a high end, local, intimate dinner experience. SIM Enclave® is one of the few offerings on the market that offers an environment where our partners can create and develop relationships with a large number of technology executives, across targeted regions, that are well aligned to your business development goals. Sponsor representatives can expand their professional network and learn about the opportunities, challenges and business opportunities faced by Enclave members. Enclaves foster open, honest dialogue and discussion related to business strategy and other issues of the day.
Enclave sponsorships are priced at $5,900 per sponsorship, per dinner for up to two sponsors who attend the event and contribute to the discussion. SIMCAC encourages sponsors to consider sending a technical practitioner to contribute to the technical aspects of the discussion.

Annual Member Appreciation Dinner
SIMCAC’s member appreciation dinner is usually held in January or February, with approximately 80 attendees. The event is always a wonderful night of celebrating the past year and connecting for members and their guests. We enjoy delicious food and outstanding paired wines, while also presenting checks to some of our STEM charitable organizations.
