Cyber Security Essentials for CIOs

By Sajay Rai, CPA, CISSP, CISM and Brad Barton, CISA

Reserve you spot now at https://chapter.simnet.org/colorado/events/calendar
As leaders of IT, CIOs are being continuously asked by their Board and the other executives if their organization has addressed the cyber security risks.  The CIOs are always wondering if their team has done enough to address the potential cyber security risks facing their organization. This session will discuss:

  • Types of cyber risks
  • Mitigation strategies
  • Essential Security Controls

The session will also provide examples on how the security controls can be deployed and explain why such controls are being recommended.

The session will also touch upon the various security frameworks and discuss which security framework is best for an organization to follow.  We will leave ample time for the participants to ask their questions.
