Message from SIMCAC Board Member, Fara Francis, on our upcoming CxO Roundtable

Dear Fellow CIOs:

As you know, organizations are now operating in a security focused minefield.  As technology leaders we are required to be vigilant concerning cybersecurity and securing our organization’s borders.   I invite you to join other CIOs and IT Leaders to SIM Capital Area chapter for a breakfast and CIO only roundtable conversation on Security.  This will be an open discussion focused on cybersecurity trends in 2020, what should we be on the alert for, remediations applied by your peers.  All IT leaders agree that security is one of the top 3-5 things to monitor in 2020 and beyond.  This roundtable confirms SIM’s endorsement of this sentiment.

A bonus for attending is a free tour of the museum to see the cool, frontier technologies that has been deployed to support the museum’s operations.

Date: Tuesday, February 25, 2020
Time: 7:30 AM – 9:30AM (immediately after roundtable)
Location: The Museum of the Bible.  400 4th Street, SW., Washington DC

I would also like to encourage you to become a member of SIM Capital Area.  We provide monthly meetings in various location in the metropolitan area focused on a range of timely technology topics.  Our events are a great place to network, learn and share ideas.   The member engagement is outstanding.  One always leaves our event with a new connection with whom you can collaborate in the future.

I look forward to welcoming you.
