If you have a child graduating High School this June 2018, please read on!
The $2,500 FWSIM High School scholarship will be accepting applications from FWSIM member children graduating High School this June.
Requirements:
The child must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4, need not be college bound, and must email the application, essay and HS transcript copy any time between July 1st and 31st. The email with attachments should be addressed to Rino Nori (rnori@noriassociates.com) and copied to Joan Tancredi (joantancredi.fwsim@gmail.com); the three attachments should be three separate (Word, PDF) files, named with the child’s surname and file description.
The essay subject is: “What are the smart phone and internet trends that I see as being most influential over the next five years”. The essay length should be between 1,500 and 2,500 words. The transcript should be a copy of the official HS transcript covering all four years of High School and clearly showing the cumulative GPA.
If after emailing your application you do not receive an email confirmation, then you MUST CALL Rino Nori immediately at (203) 329-7013.
The email should be sent any time between July 1st and July 31st. The scholarship winner will be notified in October and the $2,500 check will be awarded at the October meeting.
