Lynn Ryan is the Executive IT Consultant and Owner of ExecITCIO. Her expertise includes Strategic and Transformational IT solutions with engagements as Interim CIO and Executive IT Consulting. Ryan has significant expertise as an IT Executive and as a member of Corporate Executive Management delivering innovative technology solutions for a broad range of businesses.

Lynn has been a member of SIM since 1993. She previously served on the chapter’s Board of Directors and is currently serving as Advisor to the Board of Directors of SCSIM. Active in her community, she also serves on the Board of Directors for the Newport Beach Pro Literacy Program, Susan G. Komen OC Chapter as Liaison to Orange County Police and Fire Departments, and WITI OC. She has held other non-profit Board roles and remains committed to serving.

Prior to her current role, she was Executive Vice President and CIO of loanDepot. Prior to loanDepot, Lynn was Senior Vice President and CIO of CIT Group Inc. She held CIO positions with NovaStar Financial Inc., Ameriquest Capital Corp. (Ameriquest and Argent Mortgage) and Sanwa Bank. Before these CIO roles, she held senior management IT positions leading large-scale electronic banking divisions in retail, wholesale, commercial and international banking for Bank of America and Security Pacific National Bank. Her experience also includes IT leadership in large-scale manufacturing and utility companies.

Ryan has held Executive IT Leadership positions over 30 years. Her expertise in Information Technology spans digital transformation, business and IT operations transformation, application development, global strategic sourcing in dual shore models, large-scale infrastructure management in centralized and decentralized complex technology environments, operations, and IT services.

Ryan has been a speaker and panel moderator in financial services, banking, IT, and professional association conferences addressing a variety of IT and business topics. She has presented on topics ranging from Financial Services IT and Business, CIO Transformation Leadership, and Personal Branding. She served as a mentor in the CIO Pathways Program and on advisory boards of professional associations and as a beta reader for technology publications. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and has participated in executive IT and business programs at Harvard University, the University of Colorado, and California State University.
