These are strange times for us all, and SCSIM is here to support our members in not just surviving, but thriving, through the crisis. IT organizations are in the eye of the storm in this, and as IT Leaders, we have a unique challenge in supporting our organizations through significant disruption while supporting our teams through a stressful time. As the premier, non-profit professional organization for Information Technology executives—and we have adapted to this new environment. I invite you to learn more about us, our membership, and our programs and consider joining our community.
The key SCSIM differentiator is our motivation—we are run by our membership, for the benefit of our membership. Our volunteers create and deliver the same programs that we, as IT executives, seek and value. Networking, professional development, and giving back are “baked into the cake.” They are integral, not ancillary.
To support our members, we are offering our Resilience Roadmap – an ongoing virtual collaboration experience. Though this kicked off in July, members can join at any time, and we hope to provide it again later in the year. While we cannot continue with our in-person CIO Enclave dinners, we are offering a smaller, more personalized virtual experience for our senior-most executives as well as virtual firesides chats for IT Managers pursuing an executive chat. We’re also working with partners to provide quality virtual events to our members through the crisis.
Philanthropy is a high priority for SCSIM. We continue to support our philanthropic mission by participating in the SIM Foundation Giveback Week. This will allow you to give back to the community by giving your time in a virtual event supporting local students.
SCSIM membership is open to senior IT management practitioners and select leading technology academics and consultants. We strive to remain a welcoming organization in our virtual events. I encourage you to contact us, come to our virtual events and join us.
