Speaker: Rob Coderre Information security leaders are expected to manage the overall security of their respective organizations. However, the footprint of the typical organization extends far beyond the traditional network perimeter. Rob Coderre, Global Lead for Cyber Threat Intelligence at Accenture, will talk about third party risk and how it affects strategic, operational and tactical planning for security operations. He will reference several recent cases and threat groups that use the extended supply chain to attack a larger organization, how the lines between cybercrime, cyberespionage and hacktivism are blurring and more importantly, what security leaders can do to improve the resiliency of their operations.
Rob Coderre serves as the global Cyber Threat Intelligence lead for Accenture Security and runs the product management and business operations teams for the iDefense Threat Intelligence Services, where he is responsible for the strategic vision, product direction, and day-to-day management of the iDefense services lifecycle. His 20+ year career, spans various roles in consulting, sales engineering, and product management for emerging technical markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
Speaker: Bryce Austin Using the Equifax breach as a case study, keynote speaker Bryce Austin will illustrate the important role non-technical managers have in shaping their organization’s cybersecurity stance, why understanding business processes is a critical part of cybersecurity leadership strategies, the opportunities where a strong cybersecurity program can be a competitive advantage, and what IT leaders can do to enlist their organizations in managing the Cybersecurity initiative and message.
Bryce Austin is an internationally recognized professional speaker, a CISM-certified leading voice on technology and cybersecurity, and author of the best-selling book “Secure Enough? 20 Questions on Cybersecurity for Business Owners and Executives”. With over 15 years as a technology leader, Bryce advises the boards of companies in a diverse array of industries. He previously served as CIO and CISO of Wells Fargo Business Payroll Services, and Senior Group Manager at Target. He has first-hand experience of what happens during a cybersecurity crisis, as it did to Target due to their 2013/2014 PCI data breach.
Panelist: George Llano George is the Global Information Security Officer (CISO) for Deluxe Entertainment the world’s leading video creation to distribution company offering global, end-to-end services and technology. As CISO, he is responsible for the strategic direction and alignment of the Information Security Program across Deluxe’s 60 facilities. Prior to Deluxe Entertainment, George was the Global CISO at iHeartMedia. George has a master’s degree in cyber security from Penn State University and is a PhD candidate in Digital Forensics at the University of Fairfax. George also holds a number of security certifications from ISC2, ISACA and SANS.

Michael is the corporate controller for Site 1001, a SaaS software developer using AI and big data to revolutionize how buildings are run. Michael is an operationally focused financial leader with over 20 years of executive financial management experience. Prior to joining Site 10.01, Michael has served as VP Controller, and Treasurer for Verizon Wireless, Bally Total Fitness, Monarch Healthcare, and other mid-size and startup technology/software companies.
Panelist: Sherrie Simmons, COO - In STEPPS
As CTO and COO for several organizations across various industries including telecom, automotive, healthcare, media and technology, Sherrie has architected business structures, processes, organizational culture, and technology to deliver customer experiences that support hyper-growth and innovation. Her career spanning 25 years began as a software engineer, which has allowed her to take a technology enabled rather technology led approach to growing businesses and delivering on customer expectations. Currently, Sherrie is focused on technology solutions, along with artificial intelligence, to assist behavioral clinicians in their delivery of life changing therapy for children with autism and their families. Prior to joining In STEPPS, Sherrie was COO at Ultra Mobile where she was tasked with spearheading engineering, technology, operations, customer support and program management functions. As a result of her leadership, Sherrie facilitated Ultra Mobile’s transition and transformation from a startup-up to a scale-up leveraging her skillset in both technology and operational management.
