Share a fun personal fact:
During a one-month trip, I have traveled around the world (literally).
(US->Shanghai->Singapore->Denmark->Iceland->US)
How long have you been a SIM member?
I joined SIM in 2006
Why do you invest your time in SIM?
During the years I have been a SIM member I have made numerous friendships with colleagues who have also provided me great information and advice. Most of the various speakers we have had at the events have been educational and thought provoking.
What is one of the most important lessons you’ve learned in your career?
Never stop learning. The advice I have also given to many people is that you can learn from all situations and people your career brings you into contact with.
Tell us about an impactful SIM event that you’ve attended, and what you took away from it.
There isn’t a single event I could call out as more impactful than others. What I find valuable with the SIM events is the variety of topics and speakers there have been. Most events have provided me with insights and ideas that I can reflect on and consider what they would mean within my role and career.
What is one goal you have for 2021?
I started with Loram Nov 2020 so one goal I have is to establish myself and start to evolve the IT team and the company into a global setting.
How will we remember you?
I believe I will be remembered by being a calm person that has a lot of insight to offer.
