  1. Share a fun personal fact:
    1. I am a weekend auto racer and have been part of 8-hour endurance races at tracks across the country
  2. How long have you been a SIM member?
    1. Since 2013
  3. Why do you invest your time in SIM?
    1. Networking opportunities, learning new ways to look at technology issues, open exchange of ideas without vendor “spins” of a particular topic
  4. What is one of the most important lessons you’ve learned in your career?
    1. Learning to drive a large project to completion AND ensuring that everyone that opposed to it can still save face is one of the most important aspects of leadership.
  5. Tell us about an impactful SIM event that you’ve attended, and what you took away from it.
    1. Todd Cohen’s presentation on developing a sales culture (and how that relates to technology leadership) was a game-changer for me. It shifted my focus on interactions with others from a goal-focused methodology to an idea-focused methodology.
  6. What is one goal you have for 2021?
    1. Re-ignite the professional speaking aspect of my business!
  7. If you could have 1 day with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
    1. Chuck Yeager. 1st person to break the sound barrier. I want to learn what it was like to fly in combat before the age of computers.
  8. How will we remember you?
    1. Depends on who you ask… 😊 In all seriousness, I hope that I’m remembered professionally as someone that kept the world a little safer from cybercriminals.
