Share a fun personal fact:
I love ice hockey. I used to play goalie in high school and college and have kept involved with local youth hockey by coaching and reffing.
How long have you been a SIM member?
Since the beginning of 2022.
Why do you invest your time in SIM?
Stay informed and up to date with IT trends and to stay connected and build relationships with our tight knit IT community in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
What is one of the most important lessons you’ve learned in your career?
Helping others. Whether somebody is in transition and looking for their next career or they need advice or an introduction, you should always make time to help others. What goes around, comes around.
Tell us about an impactful SIM event that you’ve attended, and what you took away from it.
The recent SIM Golf Event was more fun and more rewarding than I expected. It was great to meet so many wonderful people in our IT community. I was extremely proud of the effort and commitment by the SIM MN Chapter Board and volunteers to provide such a fun event for everyone while raising so much money for students in Technology.
What is one goal you have for 2022?
I plan to participate in every event possible this year and into 2023. Since I joined Atomic Data, I want everyone to be aware of our incredible leadership and how we help small to medium sized companies with a truly custom IT as a Service solution that aligns with their business strategy. Speaking of leadership, the SIM leadership and membership are phenomenal, and the growth and momentum of SIM Minnesota is fun and exciting - I want to enjoy as much of it as possible.
If you could have 1 day with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My dad. He died in 1996 way to soon.
How will we remember you?
A fun and loving husband, father and friend who is dedicated to helping others and sharing laughs.
