Why you need to be on the Golf CommitteeFor 15th consecutive years, SIM Portland has awarded scholarships to students in the MIS/BIS/OTM degree track at local universities in the Oregon and SW Washington area. To date, this totaled to over $560,000. The majority of the funding for this scholarship is generated by the SIM Portland Charity Golf Tournament which first started in 2004.
How you can help
We have immediate opportunities for SIM members to participate on our Golf committee. The work revolves around planning, marketing, sponsorship acquisition and logistics relating to the tournament which will be held on September 19, 2019.
